Homework Assignment Week of 28th- Dec. 2nd

Hello Everyone! I'm back after a long peace keeping mission in the Middle East!

Your assignments are as follows:

6th Grade- Chapter 6 is all about the Roman Empire! All hail to Caeser, or Mr. Galpine. Expect a test at the end of the week!

Also get ready for a brand new assignment! You will develop a "Newspaper" with many articles from the time period we are studying! Yes, it's really a long assignment but very fun and worth one test grade for the semester, which is the length of the project. So much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7th Grade- We will continue with the United States Constitution specifically Articles 2-7 with a test at the end the end of the week! So Lets step up to the plate and take a swing.

8th Grade- Chapter 23 is in sight and it's all about the Progressive movement. We will take our time with this and the test will be next Monday.

"Newspaper"asssignments are back. Yes the same type we did last year! This will be due at the end of the semester with weekly inspections. This will equal one full test grade. Good Luck!

If you thought that Rohan, I, was trying to act cool you are wrong. That was Ankur, impersonating me. He won't do this anymore though. I am not that kind of guy who would talk like that. So, next time, if someone impersonates me don't come up to me and say stop trying to do this. (whatever the case is)

If you do have more extra credit could you please ask them in class so everyone can answer. Otherwise the person who will get it is the one who goes to your site more often.

Maybe, Rohan, he is doing that so people will check on his site more often. It's an incentive for them to look at his site.

it is said that Mary Magdalene is the Holy Grail, being (supposedly) the wife of Jesus and the one woman who could "single-handedly crumble the church." because she "carries the royal bloodline of Christ, if the truth were to be revealed, the church would fall."

it is also said that Jesus gave Mary the instructions to carry on his church and not Peter "the rock in which Jesus built His Church."

from The Gospel of Mary Magdelene:

"And Peter said, 'Did the Saviour really speak with a woman without our knowledge? Are we to turn about and all listen to her? Did he prefer her to us?'
And Levi answered, 'Peter, you have always been hot-tempered. Now I see you contending against the woman like an adversary. If the Saviour made her worthy, who are you indeed to reject her? Surely the Saviour knows her very well. That is why he lover her more than us.'"

also, in "The Last Supper" by Da Vinci, if u pay attention, there are more hands than bodies, and one hand is holding a dagger, yet it appears "to be disembodied. Peter was leaning menacingly toward Mary Magdalene and slicing his blade-like hand across her neck. The same threatening gesture as in "Madonna of the Rocks!"

Lastly, Mary Magdalene was of royal descent, "The Tribe of Benjamin" to be exact; but she was forced to "erase evidence of her powerful family ties."

ok i tink that was too much info :P
